Living at Andrews Family Housing provides easy access to on base recreational opportunities and resources. The Courses at Andrews, East and West Fitness Centers, The Andrews Bowling Center and the Gateway Swimming Pool are just minutes from your front door. Intramural and Varsity Sports are very popular at Andrews. Team sports offered are bowling, volleyball, tennis, golf, summer basketball, floor hockey and soccer. The varsity teams play against other military and civilian teams in the Washington metropolitan area. Andrews FAMCamp has thirty full hook-up sites include 30 amp electricity, water and sewage sites. School InformationThe school system serving Andrews AFB is the Prince George's County Public Schools. Andrews has one elementary, one middle, and one high school serving as primary feeder schools.
Home schooling is also a very popular education option. Andrews has a support group, Andrews Home Educators (AHE), that provides socialization and educational opportunities for home schooled kids and their families.
